In the 1960's I
started exploring my own dreams and helping other people to
explore theirs. This quickly became a major pathway for me to deal
with my long standing depression, sexual difficulties and
childhood traumas. But it opened out into a discovery of the
enormity of mind and the human spirit. Slowly I started working
with groups of people teaching them how to make practical use of
their dreams. So in 1972 I and some friends started one of the
first self-help centres in the UK. From this I was invited to
teach dream and stress release methods in many parts of the world.
The Daily Mail asked me to be their dream columnist. I also ran a
series in She Magazine, and for seven years was dream counsellor
for London Broadcasting Company. My background and direction has
always been self-help. My forty years of experience in this realm,
and my own transformation from living in what felt like a
perpetual emotional storm, allows me to know the power of working
with dreams. See biography. |
